November 27, 2006 Mike Gorman, Principal, GGL Architecture, LLC recently attended the 2006 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Denver, Colorado. This event brought over 13,000 professionals from every sector of the industry and all over the world to learn about the newest and best green building ideas, products and technologies. The four-day conference was spent learning, sharing and exploring how to take green building to a higher level. The high caliber of guest speakers from across the globe included renowned designers, economists, scientists, environmentalists and visionaries-confirming that green building ripples far beyond physical structures. The event also featured over 700 exhibits. Gorman attended selected educational and training sessions during the conference, including the new LEED program for Healthcare and School projects, which will be unveiled in 2007. Mike is a LEED-certified professional and the architect of Bend Memorial Clinic-Westside, which is awaiting LEED certification. |
