Construction will begin this month on Newport Landing-a new 40-unit neighborhood comprised of both single-family homes and attached dwellings. GGL Architecture, The Garner Group and Diamond Built Homes have teamed up to create bold new design concepts that redefine the concept of urban living on Bend's Westside. Located near the Newport Avenue and College Way Roundabout, Newport Landing will serve as a hub for the variety of activities available to Bend citizens and visitors. Displaying a fresh approach to residential architecture, homes are characterized by open room arrangements, abundant windows, inviting deck and terrace areas, and contemporary design features such as free-standing stairways and wall-mounted fireplaces. Stone, tile, glass and wood finishes add an attractive palette of textures and colors to create an atmosphere of comfort. The Design Team includes: Mike Gorman, Jim Landin, Sean Cochran, Alan Brandt and Liz DuVall of GGL, Shelley Griffin and Alison Garner-Mata of The Garner Group, and Jason Neel and Tim Johnson of Diamond Built Homes. For more information, please contact Shelley Griffin or Alison Garner-Mata of The Garner Group at 383-4360. |
